Another Escape

Behind our barn is a narrow path with a gate at each end.  If you go out one of the gates you end up by the A frame. If you go out the other gate you end up in the horses pin. The gate that leads to the horse pin was broken.(we were not aware of it) My horse pushed thhe gate open and walked down to the other end. Keep in mind that that area is VERY narrow. The gate by the A frame was closed. (that was a very good thing) We ran into the pin and got some hay to try to get her to back out. She tried turning around but their wasn't enough room. After 10 minutes she finally backed out. She did not get that their is not enough room to turn around. Afterwards my mom put a stick in the gate to hold it.
My phone is not letting me take the pictures off my phone so I will have my dad check it out. I will post pictures of my horse ASAP. (all the horse pictures are on my phone)

The Great Escape

This morning I woke up to my dogs barking their heads off only to find that my horse had escaped. My brother, sister, and mom all said your horse got out and it is going all over the yard. Then my mom said it was her fault because she did not shut the gate correctly. On our gate you have to lift up and jiggle the gate to get it totally locked. We all went outside in our pjs and got my horse to walk over. Then we got some food to make it come into her area of the yard. After that our dogs were fine and the horse was back where it was supposed to be. Now only I shut the gate and i always double check myself.

Buttercup

I got a horse for Christmas!!!!! My mom and dad had a long talk and decided they would try it out!  The reason it was such a surprise is because my dad told me that their was no chance of me getting a horse. I choose the name Buttercup. The horse is a buckskin. It is tan with a black/brown main and tail.
The horse is 2  and is trained. I absolutley LOVE my horse!!!!

Swimming With Cousins

Again I am a little late posting this. We went to our great grandmothers and we went swimming at the retirement home pool. We all had a blast! It was my brother, my sister, my cousin barret, my cousin brody and me. I know it is winter but their pool is heated and the weatherwas decent. They have a big cloth dome thing that covers the area that people sit and swim. The pool has heaters and I think there is a heater for the peolpe sitting too. It was warm, deep and shallow, and big. Thanksgiving

I am a little or actually a lot behind on posting about Thanksgiving. We went to our Grandmas on our moms and dads side then down to Gunter. Sadley my cousin Bella could not be down here with us to celebrate Thanksgiving.

busy and broken

I have not been posting because I have been busy and things have been breaking. Our keyboard stoped working so it took a while to fix it. Then the plug broke that allows me to get the pictures off my phone. Now I am at my grandparents and cannot get to the pictures off my phone.

Halloween

Tonight am going trick or treat with a friend Callie. I am going as a 106 year old lady. I will post pictures later. SUPER excited!!!! FYI- In Spring feild, massachussets halloween got CANCELED!!! I feel so sad for them!!!

busy couple of days

Today I have to bake 2 batches of cookies. tommorow I have to go to 1 trunk or treat and 2 halloween parties. Sunday I have another trunk or treat.

School Schedule

I have a CRAZY school schedule. Monday morning- saftey patrol-evening-choir-tuesday(sometimes)evenings-student council-wedensday mornings-choir-thursday evenings-Captins dribbling hawks practice-evenings(sometimes)-international club. I have a pretty busy shedule. Friday the only school day away from extra school events. I do not think i could possibly have any thing on friday unless I get moved to a friday on saftey patroll.

Marcus Carnival

This wedensday is the marcus high school Carnival. They ar having a carnival instead of their parade. I am running the Musical chairs booth with five other people. Anyone can come. It is at Marcus High school in the front lawn. I think it is in Lewisville. I will be working from 4-5 along with my BFF Callie. After we will stay a little while after but not too long. Their won't be too much parking. If you go, stop by the musical chairs. It cost $1.00 but all the money goes to my school, Heritage Elementary School.

dribbling hawks

Today I went to a dribbling hawks tryout meeting. It is a basket ball dribbling team. I am trying out for one of the 18 captins. Their are 24 people trying out for captin on Thursday. Our coach is looking for confidence, how well we handle the ball, and the most important, if we can remember the routine. The captin directs the 3rd, 4th, or 5th graders. ONLY 5th graders can try out. I have done dribbling Hawks 3rd, 4th and now 5th grade! I am super excited. Donnot bother looking for me in the picture because I couldn't find one with me in it.

Bike Rides

My grandmother has a lot of bike trails by her house. Today me and my sister are going to explore the trails for the first time! Yesterday we went on one of the bike trails but it was short and my brother was with us. I will post more later. I got to go put on my shoes for the bike rides. :) 

Lion King

Today I got to see the remake of the Lion King. I went with my grandmother. It was very good. The 3D  was pretty good. I haven't seen it in soooo long! I had forgotten over half of it so it was like the first time all over again!

school

In fifth grade we have our rotaion. I have three diferent techers, Mrs.Olson, Ms.Rogers, and Ms.Lawson. They are all wonderful and kind. Today we had our school elections for president of the school. I did not win but I got to be part of the the student council board.

back porch is coming down

A week ago we noticed that there was a little dip in the floor. Then I acidentally steped where the dip was and then it made a HUGE dip.Now we are taking the floor apart. It ia a big mess of crumbeled tiles and rotten wood. Everyone helped atleast a little.Once my dad gets up from his nap i will post some pictures of the back porch on my blog.

Choir try outs

Today I am going to try out for the lisd select choir. I cannot wait! I have practiced and prepared! If I get in I even get to go to San Antonio for a day! I have to sing America and do some pitch matiching.Wish me luck!

My b-day

i had a fantastic birthday!I got so many AWESOME things! Last night my kitten secretly got out while my dad was coming in and out of the house. this morning we looked out kate's window and saw our kitten and he wanted in very badly. i went out in my pj's and grabed him. he was shivering. now he back to normal all hiper!:)

Pool

We have an above water pool! my dad set it up while my mom and i were in Africa. We swim in it almost every day we can! i have ALWAYS wanted a pool! i used to have to go to a friends house if i wanted to swim. Now i can when ever as long as i have my parents permission. they almost always say yes.

School

I am sooo excited! I cannot wait untill school starts! I found out who my teacher is. I cannot belive i am going into 5th grade! i am in couior and i am going to try to be in student council. In student council I will run for president. We got our back to school out fits and back packs. This year i have two friends in my class.

A pretty bad day

 Last Saturday was not a very good day for us. First we found out that our great grandfather passed away in his sleep on friday. Then we went to water our 4 bunnies only to find out that kate's bunny, my sister's bunny, got out of it's cage. my parents found it in one of our pastures and it had died most likely because of heat. And then Kate got an ear infection.

Blendina

this is Blendina.

Blendina was in a hospitle in africa. She was only there for a broken leg. Every day i would go to the hospitle and visit her along with other kids. She was a sweet girl. Her mother even liked me!!!!:):):):) Her mother would alway move out of the way so i could play with her!:):):) i showed her a picture of a monkey and she said tumbilee and that means monkey. Then she said simba and that means lion. I also brought her bubbles. She tried to eat them!!!!! i  told her no eat in swahilee and then she copied me!!!!

I tought her bubbles, how to hi five, thank you, and no eat!  I gave her and another baby the ball you see in the picture.

Africa

Wedensday my mom and I got back from Africa. Africa is an amazing place.We were there doing mission work. Our only off day was Saturday. Sunday we had to do to morning and evening service at church And every day we had to go to devotionals.(in the morning) I fell in love with the beautiful mountains. My mom and grandparents were surprised that i made it the entire time and did not say i cannot do it.I even had more people than my mom and they thought i would only have one or two readers. The total number of plane rides we had is 4. 2 there and 2 back.i will post more later.(today, tomorrow, the next day ???)

Kitty

My sisters teacher lives on a farm . She brought eggs from the chickens and let the class watch them hatch. We were allowed to take them for free when you came to her house for a picnic. We wanted a chick untill we saw the kittens they were also for sale. My mom picked out one and we agreed to it. It is a boy.(my mom thought it was a girl) We decided Funky Monkey. It loves to climb ALL over you! He always is on guard when he is eating he never lets you touch his food.He is really funny and cute. By the way, i might not be able to post for a while because we are going to Africa. I am SOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!!

OUCH!

Just now I got stung by a wasp while on the computer about to post. It hurt REALLY bad. my mom gave me medicine. I had to pull out the stinger with tweezers.  That was the first time I had EVER gotten stung by something like bees or wasps. My dog also got hurt this weekend, but alot worse. Some how Skye, my dog, got a chunk taken out of her upper leg. My mom was a baby nurse so she knows how to sew it up. She said she couldn't so my dad did it with my moms instructions. The 12 stitches came undone. my parents might have to take her to the vet. It will cost at least $1,000.00! Poor Skye!:(

Moving

I haven't  been posting because we hae been packing, moving, and unpacking. Our new house is made of wood and it's on 3 1/2 acres of land. My brother and sister have to share a room, but I don't! We have some of the smallest closets EVER. We are doing some major renovations. My dad is re doing our kitchen and adding a home theater to out barn... I guess that makes it a barn theater. :)

Mission trip

My family is going on a mission trip to Tanzania, Africa this summer. We are going with Lets Start Talking. The reason we are going is to teach people how to speak English through the Bible. The trip is VERY, VERY expensive and we cannot afford to go without donations. Camping

 This is Bella playing in the dirt at the campground!

This is Bella while playing in the dirt! My mom, sister, brother, dad, grandparents, and I went camping. My cousin, Bella stayed a couple of nights.We had a BLAST! It was also Bella's birthday so all of our family came out one day to celebrate her birthday. Sadly Bella, me, and my papa got a cold. I also had my cast so there was no playing in the lake water. Even though i probably shouldn't i rode my bike a LOT.  There were also some enormous speed bump that scraped the bottom of some cars. They finally shaved them down. Sadly it was time to go so we packed our things and left a day early.
